His approach is based on building trust, actively listening, and working alongside neighbors to ensure our mountain home remains safe and thriving.

Hello, my name is Jason Boston, and I am seeking your support in my campaign for Eagle County Sheriff. I believe that every resident of Eagle County deserves to feel safe in their homes, at work, and on the road. The Sheriff's Office needs to earn that trust daily by actively listening to the community, partnering with local leaders and stakeholders, and leading by example. My goal is to create a Sheriff's Office that is professional, accountable, and deeply connected to the community it serves.

Throughout my 15 years of law enforcement service, I have built strong relationships with law enforcement, support services, and community partners. This experience has given me valuable insights into effective practices, areas needing improvement, and how the Sheriff's Office can better serve our community. Having been molded from environments that value etiquette, respect, and collaboration, I understand the principles that make a place worthy of being called home, and how to cultivate trust within the community.

My vision for the Sheriff's Office is both clear and practical: I aim to establish an office that is approachable, accessible, and transparent. I plan to support deputies in their roles, offer growth opportunities, and prioritize community needs through collaboration and steering committees. As Sheriff, I will focus on strengthening internal culture, improving retention and training, enhancing overall response through data-driven decision-making, and expanding community-based problem-solving.
